U16 TEAMS win first round of NDL GAMES

The U16 boys got off to winning start in this years u16 NDL. It was a close game against a dogged younger opponent, with the lead swapping 3-4 times in the final minutes. Blair Leese came up big to tie the game at 49-49 in regulation time, then again with the match winner in overtime after Arran made his FT’s to tie the game at 51 a piece.

It was a good team performance with everyone contributing something at either end of the court.

A shout out to Dominic and Abdul making a step up from u14s and a strong performance from Kyle, Kenley and Arran winning rebounds and driving to the hoop. Team captain Nathan controlled the floor well and Scotty Strachan’s defense and unselfishness on offense were all factors in the result.
